Municipal Judge Campaign Privacy Policy:
This Privacy Policy explains how the Campaign for Municipal Judge website (JayGrossforJudge.com) collects, uses, and protects your information. We take your privacy seriously especially when you’re deciding who gets to wear the robe.
1. What we may collect:
- Name, email, phone (if you sign up for updates or volunteer)
- Mailing address (for postcards or yard signs)
- IP address, browser type, pages visited (basic analytics no creepy tracking)
- Donation details if you give money, we only see what our processor (like ActBlue) shares: amount, date, name. We never store card numbers.
2. Why we collect it:
To send you campaign news, event invites, or thank-you notes. Never sold, never rented. If you donate, we report it as required by state election law, i.e. The Texas Ethics Commission, nothing more.
3. Who sees it:
- Campaign staff & volunteers (under strict rules after qualified vetting)
- Our email provider (Gmail or similar)
- Legal auditors, only if the state of Texas asks (nicely).
- No one else. No advertisers. No data brokers.
4. Cookies & tech:
We use basic cookies: keep you logged in, remember preferences. Nothing fancy no Facebook pixel, no Google retargeting. Turn them off in your browser if you want; the Site still works.
5. Your rights:
- Ask to see what we have on you
- Ask us to delete it (unless Texas or municipal law says we can’t—like donation records)
- Unsubscribe anytime—just hit the link or email us.
6. Security:
We use HTTPS, firewalls, and encrypted forms. Still, no system’s perfect if something breaks, we’ll tell you fast.
7. Kids:
This Site isn’t for anyone under eighteen (18). If we find out a kid gave us info, we delete it.
8. Changes:
We might tweak this policy. Check the date at the top we’ll email if it’s big.
